Typical Uses
Pre-applied liquid thread sealant is the water-based non-toxic thread sealant with UL approval for use with fittings and threaded pipe in high pressure LP gas systems, including methane, natural gas, butane and propane. Also approved for use with refrigerant R134a.
Product Specifications
| Directions | Always mix well prior to use, may only be applied to threads in good condition that are dry, clean and free from all oils or other type residues. Sealant must be fully cured prior to assembly or testing for a minimum of 24 hours in ambient conditions. |

| Preparation | Everseal 183 may thicken and/or appear to separate. Stirring or shaking the sealant will restore it to its original consistency. Everseal 183 should not be exposed to continuous open air and should be transferred into an air-tight vessel once mixed. Parts to be coated with Everseal 183 must be completely clean and free of thread cutting oils, parts washing chemicals, or other residues. |
| Application | EverSeal 183 should be applied 1-2 threads back from the end and a minimum of 3 middle threads. The sealant should be applied from the root of the threads out to the crown and allowed to dry back. Take care not to apply too much sealant and never apply additional sealant over non-cured sealant. |

EverSeal drying times may vary with the type of material to which it is applied. The manufacturer recommends that the user perform internal testing to determine the cure conditions required to provide an adequate seal. 3 Steps to a Superior Seal.

Place
Custom mandrels will accommodate any fitting configuration.
2.
Apply
The EverSeal Coating System will apply and properly distribute EverSeal on the fitting threads.
3.
Use
Dry, ship and use the EverSeal coated fittings. The tough coating eliminates special handling requirements while EverSeal ensures a leak-proof installation.
